Joe Councill III
APRN PMHNP-BC
Joe has over 30 years of inpatient and outpatient psychiatric experience and 20 years as a nursing educator in Omaha. He earned his RN from Methodist College in 1998, MSN in Nurse Education from Clarkson College in 2008, and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certificate from UNMC in 2013.
He provides care for conditions from mild depression to schizophrenia, emphasizing physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Joe uses research-based assessments to track progress and collaborates with other providers to ensure minimal, effective medication use.
Joanne Councill
BS
Joanne is a Omaha native who graduated from Gross High School. She earned her BS in Human Resources and Family Sciences from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
She worked for ten plus years in the financial services industry before becoming a stay at home mom to her and Joe’s three children.
She is now working along side her husband as his office manager helping him fulfill his lifelong dream of having his own psychiatric private practice.

Every patient's path to wellness is different. We use research-based assessment tools and brief motivational interviewing to understand your goals then build a plan that fits your life, not a template.
We don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to psychiatry. Our job is to be your partner, not just your prescriber.
